SO I DONT HAVE ALL OF MY PICTURES YET BUT I WILL ADD THOSE LATER. TO MAKE SENSE OF WHAT ITS GOING ON IN MY DRAFT, THERE WILL BE A BIG PICTURE WHERE THERE IS A SILHOUETTE THAT SAYS CAMERA SHY AND THEN IN EACH ONE OF THE FILM STRIP BOXES WILL BE PICTURES THAT RELATE TO THE BIG PICTURE. THE SMALLER PICTURES WILL BE IN SEQUENCE SHOWING THE MOVEMENT OF WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE BIG PICTURE. THINK OF IT AS A CHILDREN'S BOOK WITH THE BIG PICTURE BEING THE PICTURE IN THE BOOK AND THE SMALL PICTURES BEING THE TEXT OF THE BOOK.
hey, i love this idea. as i posted on my blog, instead of here like i was supposed to, your plan is playful and original, telling the story of a picture with pictures...nifty! i also like the movie reel idea as documentary of the bigger pic. cheers!

ReplyDeleteVery nicely done! Have you ever seen a zoetrope? It's a wheel that has a series of still photos spinning around and when you look through the slit in the wheel it appears that there's movement. I see your book as a similar idea but instead of picture movement you use the readers imagination to capture the illusion
